What does it mean to be saved?

  1. You Realize There Are Only Two Eternal Options After Death

He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. John 3:18

  1. You Realize You Are A Sinner

There is none righteous, no, not one. Romans 3:10

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
Romans 3:23

  1. You Realize You Cannot Get Yourself Into Heaven

Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law [is] the knowledge of sin.
Romans 3:20

  1. You Realize That Christ Paid The Price To Get You Into Heaven

For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man's obedience many will be made righteous. Romans 5:19
For the wages of sin [is] death, but the gift of God [is] eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23

  1. You Realize That You Must Receive Christ As Your Savior

If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Romans 10:9-10
For whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved. Romans 10:13
